We are a 501 (c ) 3 Non-Profit All Volunteer group that provides support to the local community.  We provide team demonstrations to groups in the local area.   We present the Association of National Parks Rangers LOST BUT FOUND, SAFE & SOUND program. We provide information on the Bloodhound and their capabilities.

Jim and Jan started this adventure in March of 2008 when they got the little bundle of bloodhound named Edgar.  He was 9 pounds when we brought him home.  He has since grown to be about 110 pounds of pure energy and delight.  We have grown and learned about the wonderful breed of dog.  They steal your heart and bring a smile to your face no matter what they are doing.

Jan has been deeply involved in the community doing various volunteer work.  Jan has been the Head Coach of the St Mary's Ryken Varsity Ice Hockey team and Vice Commissioner of the Maryland Scholastic Hockey League.  She is a member of the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department, EMS-3 division.

Jim has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Maryland Scholastic Hockey League.  He is a Member of the Board of Directors and Member of the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department, EMS-3 division.  He is a Maryland EMT-B and an American Heart Association CPR Instructor.

Both Jim and Jan are National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR) certified SARTECH II and MLPI (Managing the Lost Person Incident) certified.

EDGAR has his American Bloodhound Club (ABC) Man Trailing certification (MT).
